Artscape Gathering – Educators Edition

Artscape Gathering – Educators Edition

Last week, we came together for an inspiring session of the Artscape Gathering – Educators Edition. These gatherings are not just meetings—they are spaces where collaboration, reflection, and meaningful connection take center stage.

During this edition, we explored several key themes that are shaping our work and collective journey:

Artscape’s Strategic Vision
We looked ahead to what’s next—discussing Artscape’s long-term plans and future direction. This conversation sparked ideas and energy for the path forward, grounded in shared values and commitment.

Working in Migration Centers
An eye-opening discussion unfolded around the challenges and insights of working in foreign migration centers. Educators shared their lived experiences, highlighting the importance of empathy, resilience, and cultural sensitivity in these complex environments.

Movement for Connection and Self-Awareness
To ground ourselves and deepen our understanding, our educator Indrė Gin led a movement-based workshop. This reflective session invited us to explore how movement is intrinsically connected to emotional well-being, self-awareness, and our capacity to connect with others. Through the body, we found space to express, release, and relate—key elements in both education and integration contexts.

This meeting was part of the “Get The Net” project (The Action Civil Society Cooperation in the fields of Youth, Education and Training – FPA, ERASMUS-2023-CSC-OG-FPA).
