SOUNDSCAPE podcast: When Music Unites and Heals
Marina Pilipenko – the singer who came from Dnipro lived an active musical life in her hometown, worked as a vocal teacher in Odesa, performed Ukrainian songs. In Lithuania, she continues her artistic activities – she gives concerts, participates in events designed to support Ukraine.
Domantas Pūras is a Lithuanian composer who presented the experiential installation “Music for Haven” at the Refugee Reception Center in Naujininkai. The piece encouraged listeners to reflect not only on the meaning of refuge, but also on the role of music in connecting people and the universal aspects of our human existence.
